The UK CAA’s Airspace Regulation Team collects and stores your personal details i.e. name, and contacts details for the purpose of assessing notifications of Airspace Coordination and Obstacle Management.

Who sees your personal information and why
We may need to share your personal data with relevant organisations, usually based in the UK, for the purpose of assessing notifications of Airspace Coordination and Obstacle Management and communication to stakeholders. These organisations could include Aerodromes, National Air Traffic Services, Government Departments as well as relevant parties such as Prisons and Nuclear Sites.
In the rare event that we do transfer personal data to outside of the UK, we ensure that there are appropriate safeguards in place to certify that it is adequately protected as required by data protection legislation.
How long we keep your personal information and why
We keep your personal information for as long as you have a relationship with us and, thereafter, for a specified purpose in line with our legal duties or public functions, to respond to any questions or complaints, or to maintain records according to European or National aviation rules that apply to us.
